Copenhagen Comics is not just one festival - we are a voluntary association.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

We organize the festival and other cultural events with comics at the center. And we do it all year round. <\/p>\n

The purpose of the association is to celebrate the comic book medium, strengthen the creative environment in the Danish comic book industry and make comics more visible and accessible to a wide audience.
We do this by creating meetings between the audience, comic book creators and the industry - in Denmark, the Nordic countries and internationally.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The Copenhagen Comics festival is our biggest annual gathering point, but the association also works outside the festival. We organize drawing workshops, reading clubs and other events that support community, knowledge sharing and creative expression. <\/span><\/p>\n

Copenhagen Comics is run by a board of directors and a large group of volunteers who organize the work in independent working groups. All members of the association work voluntarily and unpaid. <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>Copenhagen Comics is a community for everyone interested in comics and related parts of popular culture - including cosplay and other creative communities. Through volunteer involvement, the association works to celebrate, communicate and develop comic culture - both at the festival and throughout the year. <\/span>
