Klara Nordin Stensö is a Swedish author, illustrator and animator. She made her debut in 2022 with Den lilla lilla lilla sjöjungfrun and has subsequently published a number of books and series.
Klara has also illustrated columns for the New York Times and created campaigns for the Red Cross.
Her autobiographical graphic novel, The Perfect Mother, explores birth experiences and the first intense and confusing time of parenthood.
Comics are not the only thing Klara Nordin works with. She holds a Master’s degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Konstfack and has studied both systems science at Stockholm University and weaving and embroidery at Handarbetets vänner.
Klara Nordin Stensö is known for her authenticity and narrative drive, and her works range from children’s books to autobiographical graphic novels.
