Peter Snejbjerg visits Copenhagen Comics 2024

Peter snejbjerg has worked on a multitude of comic book publications, from drawing on titles for DC and Dark Horse comics, to writing stories for Donald Duck and Co.

Peter Snejbjerg is a Danish comic book artist. He studied at Kolding School of Arts and Crafts from 1983 to 1987. Throughout his career, he has contributed to a number of notable works in the comic book industry.

When he’s not busy drawing, he writes stories for magazines such as Donald Duck and Co. He also designed a traffic light in Tønder, Denmark…

He has worked on the DC Comics title Starman and been involved in various Vertigo titles. For Dark Horse Comics, he drew several issues for the BPRD titles.

Other things Peter Snejbjerg has been involved in include Hellblazer, The Books of Magic, Animal Man and The Dreaming. Peter Snejbjerg has drawn comics for Le Lombard and Éditions Dargaud and illustrated children’s books for Gyldendal, Alinea, Forlaget Corto, Calibat and many others.

Snejbjerg was nominated for the 1997 Haxtur Awards for “Best Long Comic Strip” and in 2005 for “Best Cover”. In addition, he was honored with the Claus Deleuran Award in 2019 as Best Danish Comic Book Artist.

His artistic contributions have left a huge mark on the world of comics, and his talent continues to fascinate readers and fans around the world.
