About the festival

Copenhagen Comics is Denmark's largest comic book festival. Over two days in Pentecost, we gather thousands of comic fans, cosplayers, families with children and curious souls for a vibrant festival with comics at the center.

Copenhagen Comics is more than stands and stages. It’s where people come together to share stories, drawings and creativity – whether you come to meet your favorite comic creators, find new comics or just experience the atmosphere.

You can get signings, participate in workshops, experience interviews, debates and live drawing on stage, explore exhibitions and meet both Danish and international creators.

The festival also includes dedicated areas for cosplay, board games, Artist Alley, as well as a large area for children and young people to draw, read, play and be creative together.

For many, Copenhagen Comics is a place to return to – for the atmosphere, the inspiration and the experience of being part of something bigger.

Whether you’re a passionate comic book fan or just curious.
We love comics and we’d love to have you join us!

Powered by volunteers

Copenhagen Comics is planned and executed entirely by volunteers who are divided into different working groups.

We are about 30 volunteers who plan and organize Copenhagen Comics.
Each group works with one corner of the festival.
It’s all tied together by facilitators and the board.

The board consists of six people, each with a passion and love for comics and the festival.
