In the new Comics Village, creators, fans and publishers will come together in a vibrant community in the middle of the largest pop culture event in the Nordic region.

When Copenhagen Comics moves into Comic Con Denmark, it's with what has made the festival Denmark's largest comic book festival: the comic book community.
In the new Comics Village, visitors can experience live drawing, interviews, drawing battles and meet both Danish and international artists. The focus is not only on the fantastic stories - but on the process, the craft and the community around the comics. Copenhagen Comics is run by volunteers and has over 20 years built an environment where creators and fans meet at eye level.

"We look forward to the collaboration. We want to bring Danish comics to a larger audience and invite more people into our comics community," says Jan Michelsen, Chairman of Copenhagen Comics.
The collaboration also opens the door for more Danish comic creators to become part of Comic Con Denmark. With stands at prices familiar from Copenhagen Comics, it will be easier for both established and new creators to participate. "It will be prices you know from Copenhagen Comics. It's not something we need to make a lot of money on. It's about getting more people to Comic Con Denmark," says Jan Michelsen. Chairman of Copenhagen Comics.
The ambition is clear: to give Danish comics a stronger place in mainstream pop culture - and invite even more people into the community.
Comic Con Denmark will be held November 7-8 in Bella Centeret. And Copenhagen Comics is already on May 23 and 24 in Valby Hallen.
