Anne Mette Kærulf Lorentzen made her debut in 2018 with the autofictional Skamlebben, about coming out after turning 40. In 2022, Væk was published about struggling with an eating disorder, meeting across generations and nature as a healing force,
In 2024, Lorentzen will publish Før freden. It is also an autofictional narrative about how an unprocessed war can make noise in the silence and travel through generations.
