Author and illustrator Thomas Knappe is a graduate of Seriehögskolan in Malmö.
His work is impressively drawn and narrated, and in 2013 he won the Ping Award for best debut with the comic Troldmændene fra Vestmannaeyjar, based on an Icelandic legend. More recently, he has created the comic series Drømme i tynd luft (2016) together with author Michael Magnus Nybrandt.
In 2022, he published Hvordan vil du jage et monster? – a fun and fascinating “choose your own adventure” book that takes kids on an adventure that they can contribute to.
