Annual volunteer

Become an annual volunteer and join one of Copenhagen Comics’ working groups or start your own. Together we plan, coordinate and develop the festival all year round.

Everything at Copenhagen Comics – from booking guests to the stage program and graphics – is created by volunteers. Previously, much of the festival was in the hands of a few board members, but today it’s working groups and coordinators who make the festival happen. The board coordinates and ensures that the collaboration works – but it’s the community of volunteers that drives the festival forward.

When you volunteer as an organizer, you become part of the community behind the festival.
You can make your mark on the festival with what you’re passionate about – while developing new skills and gaining experiences you can take with you.

We are looking for organizers with different skills and personalities – whether you are structured, creative, social, detail-oriented or practical.

When you sign up as an organizer, we make sure you get an introduction to the work.
Together we can find the tasks that best suit you and your interests.

We work together in groups

We have different working groups, each responsible for one area of the festival. The groups are led by coordinators and work independently – but in close collaboration with each other and the board.

Together we create Denmark’s largest comic festival – and develop both the festival and ourselves.

What happens after I sign up?

You will hear from us as soon as possible by phone or email.

Copenhagen Comics is planned and run entirely by volunteers. We are therefore very happy that you want to join us. We look forward to meeting you!
